  Notes	Obituary The Oregonian Jan 29, 2008 Samuel L. Lovelace Jr. Thursday, January 24, 2008 Samuel L. Lovelace Jr. died Jan. 9, 2008, of cancer at age 81. Samuel L. Lovelace was born July 15, 1926, in Selma, Calif. During World War II, he served in the Navy in the Pacific. He moved to Milwaukie in 1961 and was a carpenter foreman for OHSU for 27 years. In the early 1940s, he married Mary Stone; they divorced. Survivors include his daughter, Teresa Hoover; sons, Ron and Kim; former wife; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
