*Burial notes: He was buried where he was killed, by the creek now called Boone's Creek, Bourbon County, Kentucky by his brother Daniel and others. Later his remains were visible due to the nature of a creekside and were re-interred at Rockbridge Baptist Church Yard.
A Historial marker now stands at the site of his death #2059 at junction of KY Hwy. 537 & See Road
